The Backyard Paso Robles Opens February 14

On February 14, Paso Robles will see its very first beer garden – The Backyard – open in the Railroad District near downtown.

Located at Railroad and 13th Streets, The Backyard will feature local beers, wines, and ciders on rotating taps that locals and visitors can sit and enjoy in their expansive outdoor seating area.

With room for over 200, the seating area features fire pits and overhead heat lamps to keep you warm, retractable shades and misters for that north county summer heat, a place just for the kids to play, and of course corn hole!

Roots on Railroad also has taken over the building previously occupied by Chubby Chandlers Pizza, and will be serving their “gourmet street fare” (including their award winning lobster mac & cheese!) to patrons of The Backyard.

We went to the soft opening of The Backyard last weekend, and already can’t wait to go back again.  Even though you’re only two blocks from downtown Paso you really do feel like you’re in your best friend’s backyard, just with some really amazing food and awesome local beer/wine/cider selection!

The Backyard official opens on Friday, February 14 at 11:00 a.m.  For more information please contact owner Russel Baker at info@thebackyardpaso.com
