National Red Wine Day: 9 Wineries to Celebrate in SLO County

National Red Wine Day is August 28, and there is no better place to celebrate than in San Luis Obispo County.  With hundreds of wineries just in SLO County alone, there are plenty of places to visit, raise a glass, and celebrate what makes red wine so special.  Plus at 100 calories per five-ounce pour and resveratrol from the grape skins to keep your brain sharp there really is no excuse not to get out and have a glass (or two!) .

Here are nine wineries we found up and down SLO County to help you get out and celebrate National Red Wine Day!

Edna Valley Vineyard

Edna Valley Vineyard is located in the famed Edna Valley wine region, a short 10 minute drive south of San Luis Obispo.
