HIKE OF THE MONTH

Cambria - Fiscalini Ranch

FISCALINI RANCH PRESERVE

Nestled within the picturesque coastal town of Cambria, California, lies the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve, a breathtaking 437-acre stretch of protected land that offers visitors a unique experience by combining the rugged beauty of the Central Coast with the opportunity to explore a diverse range of habitats and wildlife. This hidden gem is a haven for nature enthusiasts, hikers, birdwatchers, and anyone seeking a serene escape amidst California’s natural beauty.

One of the key attractions of the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve is its extensive network of trails, which offer options for all levels of fitness and experience. Visitors can choose from several scenic routes, including the Bluff Trail, which meanders along the dramatic coastline and offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, and the Ridge Trail, which traverses the preserve’s higher elevations and provides panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscape.

The trails are well-maintained and clearly marked, making it easy for visitors to explore the preserve’s beauty at their own pace. Whether you prefer a leisurely stroll along the bluffs or a more challenging hike through the forest, you are sure to be rewarded with breathtaking views and an intimate encounter with nature.

WINERY OF THE MONTH

PEACHY CANYON WINERY

Founded by Doug and Nancy Beckett in 1988, Peachy Canyon Winery has long been a staple of Paso Robles’ wine country.

Over the years their award-winning wines have helped establish the Paso Robles American Viticulture Area as a key wine region in California, and their use of organic and biodynamic farming methods exemplify how a vineyard can still produce healthy grapes while reducing their impact on the environment in a sustainable way.

At their beautiful tasting room located on their vineyard in the Templeton Gap District, you can sip your way through their flagship varietal – Zinfandel – but you can also find their Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petite Sirah, Viognier, and more on their tasting menu along with a series of top-tier Bordeaux-style wines.

To learn more about Peachy Canyon Winery make sure to visit their website or social channels linked below, and watch the reel we posted on Instagram to see more of our recent visit to one of our favorite wineries on the Central Coast!
