One of the best features about the Madonna Inn is their onsite spa. Not only can guests of the hotel and day visitors come out to enjoy a variety of massages, the spa also offers facials, facial treatments, and waxing.
The experience of going to spa is also nothing short of what you would expect from the Madonna Inn; every detail from the plush robe to the post-treatment tea and macaron have been thoughtfully planned ensuring you have the best experience possible.
SERVICES
MASSAGE
There are seven signature massages that can consistently be found on the Spa’s menu, and offer something for every visitor.
For those guests seeking a traditional massage, the Spa offers the Madonna Inn Signature Massage that comes in 60, 90, and 120 minute sessions. The massage can also be upgraded to include a deep tissue detail, but only for 60 or 90 minutes.
The Spa also has several massage options that incorporate heated stones and bamboo sticks to treat aching muscles:
- the Caveman Massage uses the heated stones and traditional massage techniques to aid with muscle tension;
- the Bamboo Massage leverages heated bamboo sticks to smooth the muscle tissue and relax the body;
- and the Sticks and Stones massage uses both heated stones and bamboo sticks to soothe sore muscles.
These massage sessions run 75 or 90 minutes, with the exception of the Bamboo which has a 70 minute option instead.
There are also three specialty signature massages, each with a specific focus:
- the Butter Me Up Massage focuses on your skin’s elasticity by using 100% cocoa butter throughout the massage in 60 and 90 minute sessions;
- the Arnica Massage focuses on healing your tired and sore muscles by uses an ancient herbal remedy during the massage in a 60 minute session with the option to upgrade to deep tissue;
- and the Mama Massage is a special massage just for those expecting mothers before the little one arrives in 30, 60, and 90 minute sessions!
FACIALS
The Spa at the Madonna Inn also offers traditional facials with skilled estheticians ready to create the perfect experience just for you.
There are six signature facials on the menu at the spa with treatment options ranging from sun damage repair to acne, and even a facial for your back.
For those guests looking for a cleansing facial the spa offers two options: the Just the Basics facial includes a cleanse, exfoliation, facial massage, and mask in a 45 minute session while the Back to Basics is a cleansing facial for your back!
The spa also offers three restorative facials:
- the Ion Rescue Facial, which can be customized by your esthetician to help with aging, hyper-pigmentation, hydration, or acne;
- the Jan Marini Retinol Facial to fight the signs of aging;
- and the Jan Marini C-Esta Facial that focuses on sun damage and hyper-pigmentation in addition to fighting the signs of aging.
Guests of the spa can also have an experience customized just for them by their esthetician. With the Madonna Signature Facial, your esthetician will assess your skin’s needs and concerns, and create a personalized experience that includes extractions, a mask, and massage of the hands, head, and arms.
SKIN TREATMENTS
The Spa at the Madonna Inn offers Intraceutical Oxygen Facial Treatments for the face, hands, and arms, which aim to reduce expression lines and increase your youthful glow.
These treatments come in two options: the Madonna Facelift for tighter, lighter, and beautiful skin; or the Rejuvenate Facial, a treatment targeting fine lines and wrinkles.
Each treatment option is offered as a stand-alone appointment, or a series of sessions can be purchased that include additional VIP benefits.
PACKAGES
Treatment packages are another great way to experience the Spa at the Madonna Inn. The packages creatively combine treatment options around six different experiences that range from the luxurious to the essentials, or towards specific life events like brides and expectant mothers.
The most popular package at the Spa is the Macadamia Moisture Glow, which combines a body scrub with a 1-hour massage and hand and foot treatments. This package can also be upgraded to include a facial.
The most luxurious package on the Spa’s menu is the American Beauty, which includes an intraceutical oxygen facial, body and foot massage, and a body scrub with your choice of mimosa, lemongrass, or espresso!
The Cloud 9 and The Essentials packages both include a massage and facial, but with slightly different focuses. The Cloud 9 package is the more luxurious of the two, and includes a 60 minute Madonna Signature facial and 45 minute Butter Me Up massage. The Essentials package is just that: a 45 minute Just the Basics facial and 45 minute relaxation massage.
The Blushing Bride and Cocoa Mama are two packages designed specifically for brides and expectant mothers, and deliver experiences perfect for these beautiful life moments. The Blushing Bride package soothes those wedding jitters away with a lavender body and foot massage, and helps your skin glow with a Dermalogica facial. The Cocoa Mama package is the perfect “me time” before the baby arrives with a 45 minute cocoa butter massage and 45 minute facial.
MINI TREATMENTS
If you can’t spend much time at the Spa, the Madonna Inn also offers four Mini Treatments. These sessions typically range 30 – 45 minutes, and feature body scrubs and massages.
Two of the mini treatments focus specifically on massage, the Madonna Mini Focus Massage and the Wild Blossom Scalp & Lavender Foot Massage. The Madonna Mini Focus Massage is a quick 30-minute massage focused on whatever area you need most, while the Wild Blossom Scalp & Lavender Foot Massage is just that: a scalp and foot massage but with the soothing effects of flowers.
The other two mini treatments focus more on exfoliation. The Mimosa Glo or Espresso Mud Scrub treatment exfoliates and moisturizes the body, while the My Sweet Feet treatment exfoliates and moisturizes the feet.
WAXING
The Spa at the Madonna Inn offers brow, lip, chin, ear, bikini, and full and half leg waxing services in addition to brow shaping and waxing. However, these services are considered an add-on treatment and you must be visiting the spa for another service if you also wish for a waxing appointment.
THE SPA EXPERIENCE
Guests of the hotel and day visitors are welcome to visit the Spa at the Madonna Inn for services.
In both circumstances guests simply need to make a reservation at the Spa for the selected services, and arrive at the Spa at the designated time.
However, guests of the hotel can simply use their hotel room key to enter the gated spa area where day visitors must call the spa upon their arrival, and wait at the gate for someone from the spa to let them in.
All guests are greeted at the Reception desk where you check in and complete light paperwork. This paperwork will serve as the basis for your conversation with the professional performing your services, and give you an opportunity to highlight areas of focus (or avoid).
Once you are checked in you will be escorted to the locker room where you receive your plush Madonna robe, sandals, and an assigned space to hold your clothing and valuables while at the spa. The locker room is also equipped with showers and toiletries for your use before and after services.
When ready, guests of the spa gather in a beautiful waiting room until the professional arrives for their appointment. In the waiting room guests will find beautiful gilded chairs, and light snacks to hold them over including fruit, cookies, and water.
At the conclusion of your treatment at the spa, you will again be escorted by your professional to a waiting room (this one private) where you can relax and recover. Here you are given a delicious cup of warm tea and a signature pink macron as the final touch to your visit before returning to the locker room to shower (if you chose) and redress.
At the end of your treatment at the Spa, both guests of the hotel and day visitors are welcome to stay and utilize the heated outdoor pool just outside the spa entrance. The pool is a truly beautiful place to continue to relax after experiencing a treatment at the Spa, and there is no better way to end the day than with a drink by the waterfall overlooking the pool.
