Eating is one of the most important parts of any vacation, and the food at the Madonna Inn does not disappoint: there are two restaurants, a cocktail lounge, poolside bar, gourmet and wine shop, and a bakery all onsite, all of which are open to guests of the hotel and day visitors.
GOLD RUSH STEAK HOUSE
The Alex Madonna Gold Rush Steak House is the fine dining option at the Madonna Inn, and is the peak Madonna Inn experience.
Everything from the decor to the menu and drinks are over the top (and pink!), and what you hope for and expect from such an iconic hotel famous for their 110 individually decorated rooms.
Only open for dinner, the steakhouse features American cuisine with their steaks, chicken, seafood, and some of their vegetarian options prepared on an oak-pit barbecue.
Guests can also order slices of their famous pink champagne cake for dessert, and dance the night away to the live music at the nearby Madonna Inn Dance Floor!
MADONNA INN COPPER CAFE
If the Gold Rush Steakhouse is the Madonna Inn’s version of fine dining, then the Copper Cafe is their vision for the traditional American diner.
Their breakfast menu (which is served all day) has everything from pancakes and waffles to eggs, bacon, and even frittatas; for lunch and dinner you can find classics like a BLT or Monte Cristo; and always dessert from the bakery!
This is the Madonna Inn, though, so you will also find food like the Filet Mignon, Barbecue Prime Rib Sandwich, and the Alaskan Sand Dabs on the cafe menu, but always in the spirit of delicious diner food.
SILVER BAR COCKTAIL LOUNGE
The Silver Bar Cocktail Lounge is the perfect spot at the Madonna Inn for that pre-dinner drink, after work cocktail, or nightcap. The lounge itself is beautiful with stained glass windows, hand carved wooden arches and details, lots of pink (of course!), and plenty of places for intimate conversations.
Open daily from 10am to midnight, guests of the hotel and day visitors are welcome to order a cocktail from their full bar, appetizers from their lounge menu, and experience the special place that is the Madonna Inn.
BAKERY
The Bakery at the Madonna Inn is where you can find their famous Pink Champagne Cake, but that isn’t the only delicious treat you can find there.
The Bakery also makes classic cakes like Lemon, Black Forest, and Toffee Crunch, as well as their seasonal cakes like Strawberry, German Chocolate, and Carrot. And that’s not all!
Guests of the hotel and day visitors can treat themselves to cupcakes, cookies, and a wide variety of pastries from the bakery, and find the perfect addition to any meal.
GOURMET & WINE SHOP
The Gourmet & Wine Shop at the Madonna Inn is not a traditional restaurant, but does have a vast selection of local wines and gourmet bites that can be purchased individually, packaged together for a gift basket, or prepared as part of a picnic lunch. The shop also offers onsite wine tasting of local wines and Madonna Inn private labels that can be paired with chocolates and cheeses.
TERRACE POOL BAR
The Terrace Pool Bar is only open to guests of the hotel and day visitors to the Spa, but is a treat to indulge in if you are either.
Guests can enjoy wraps and smoothies, or relax with one of the Madonna Inn’s signature cocktails poolside, in the gazebo by the waterfall, or a lounge chair in the sun.
