Ascendo Coffee - San Luis Obispo Guide

Ascendo Coffee is a local coffee shop with two locations in SLO County.

Their location in Downtown San Luis Obispo is located on Monterey Street, just north of the historic Mission and nearby all of the dining and shopping the area has to offer.

The Downtown SLO location is also unique in that it offers a community area solely for face-to-face conversations – laptops are not allowed.

Not to fret though; the coffee shop also has a beautiful room with large windows (and lots of outlets) for those study sessions and work hours.

Ascendo Coffee’s location in Los Osos has a similar vibe, but no specially designated community area.

Most visitors to the Ascendo in Los Osos are having those in-person conversations, but the shop definitely has the vibe, space, and outlets to support those choosing to work and study from that location.

From 101 South, take exit 203A for Santa Rosa Street. The off ramp will exit on Olive Street; continue on Olive Street for .1 miles to Santa Rosa. At Santa Rosa Street, turn right and travel .4 miles to Monterey Street. At Monterey Street, turn right and Ascendo Coffee will be .1 miles on the right.

From 101 North, take exit 203A for Osos Street. At the off ramp, continue on Osos Street for .3 miles to Monterey Street. At Monterey Street, turn right and Ascendo Coffee will be 177 feet on the right.

There is limited paid street parking in Downtown San Luis Obispo, but two public parking garages located within walking distance of Ascendo.

From 101 South,take exit 200 for Los Osos Valley Road in San Luis Obispo. At the off ramp, turn right onto Los Osos Valley Road and continue straight for 9.8 miles to Los Osos. Ascendo Coffee is located in Los Osos just past South Bay Boulevard in the shopping center on the right, at the corner of Fairchild and Los Osos Valley Road.

From 101 North, take exit 200A for Los Osos Valley Road in San Luis Obispo. At the off ramp, turn left onto Los Osos Valley Road, and travel straight 10 miles to Los Osos. Ascendo Coffee is located in Los Osos just past South Bay Boulevard in the shopping center on the right, at the corner of Fairchild and Los Osos Valley Road.

There is a shared lot at Ascendo Coffee in Los Osos with plenty of spaces for parking.
