World Day of Remembrance – A SLO County Community Event

AN ANNUAL EVENT TO REMEMBER, SUPPORT & RAISE AWARENESS OF ROAD SAFETY
The World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims is a global event observed on the third Sunday in November, that honors those who have lost their lives or been injured in road traffic incidents while acknowledging the suffering of victims and their families.
San Luis Obispo Council of Governments (SLOCOG) will be hosting an inaugural World Day of Remembrance event that honors victims of road traffic incidents & supports affected families while promoting road safety awareness. The event will be held in front of the San Luis Obispo (SLO) County Courthouse Annex on Sunday, November 17, 2024. Reception is scheduled from 12 to 12:30pm; Memorial is scheduled from 12:30 to 1:30pm; and a press conference is scheduled to follow at 1:30pm.
