SUMMER SCIENCE & ART IN THE GARDEN WEEK: Students Ages 10 to 14
We’re excited to offer a fun and interactive dive into nature, science and art at the SLO Botanical Garden this summer.
During the week of July 22nd through 26th, students will experience different daily explorations into the natural world. Our young scientists will use dissecting tools and microscopes and will document their findings in creative ways. This class will be taught by a team of knowledgeable educators and Garden docents.
Arrival time is 10am by Noon, they’ll leave with their minds full and a smile on their face. Some topics include: a deep dive into flower and pollination, native birds, soil investigation, and more!
Please note: if your child cannot attend the whole week but wants to join in the fun, they can sign up for a single day for $25 each day. Please email jen@slobg.org to make special arrangements or if your family could benefit from a partial scholarship. We hope to see you there!
