@colors_by_cultura is an incredibly talented photographer based right here on the central coast. He uses his Canon 6D, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and Mavic Mini 3 to capture stunning images and video of SLO County, the places he’s traveled throughout California, and across the US. There are only a few days left until Esprit du Vin!

Every year the Wineries of 46 East gather under one roof for a night of wine, delicious food, and live music in celebration of their annual Esprit du Vin, or the “Spirit of Wine”. As a wine lover, it is an incredible event offering the opportunity to enjoy the wines you may know, and discover new favorites from the entire collective that makes up the Wineries of 46 East.

We have attended the event the past few years, and always have a great time. Not only do we enjoy sipping our way through the wines (and the food really is delicious), it’s wonderful to meet the real people behind the wineries and see why they’re excited about their wines. We’ll be back again this year, and hope to see you there!

Did you know you can ride an authentic steam train to see holiday lights right here in Santa Margarita?

Christmas at the Ranch in Santa Margarita is the newest holiday tradition for the whole family! You’ll get to ride an authentic steam train from Santa Margarita Ranch to Santa’s Village, and see fun and unique displays along the ride. Once at Santa’s Village, you’ll find food and drinks, games, a marketplace full of local vendors, pony rides, and of course SANTA!

We were invited to Christmas at the Ranch last weekend, and it was such an amazing experience. The train ride is such a unique, fun way to see holiday lights, and the displays were incredible. The fun didn’t stop there with the opportunity to eat some yummy food, make s’mores by the firepit, indulge in some adult beverages, and get a picture of our little one with Santa!

Now in their third year, Nature Nights at @slobotanical is an immersive outdoor holiday, light, art, and music experience that features exhibitions throughout their eight acres of gardens.

In addition to the incredible light displays, this year guests will also get to experience:
✨ new and updated displays across the gardens
🎶 live music on two stages
🍽️ food vendors & drink options
🛍️ an artist marketplace
🔥 a fire pit (where you can make s’mores!!)
🎅 and a few visits from Santa!

We were thankful to be invited back to Nature Nights this year, and it was such an elevated experience. The new light displays and artwork set in nature are truly stunning, the food and drink options were delicious, and getting to make s’mores at their fire pit while listening to live music was the perfect way to end the night.
